Our History
Allied was founded in 1992 in Dallas, Texas, by CEO Clay Tramel, who contributed $300,000 in start-up capital and was the company’s sole employee during the first 15 months of operation.
Allied started from a base of $700,000 in annual purchases in 1992 and has grown to over $300 million in 2008. Allied has financing in place today to support $60 million in monthly purchases, with additional capital ready to grow to $100 million.
