Gen Merritt-Parikh Vice President of Portfolio and Risk Management
Gen Merritt-Parikh officially joined Allied in September of 2009 as Vice President of Portfolio and Risk Management. She is responsible for maintaining Allied’s overall client portfolio and leading and developing the account management team to ensure both effective and efficient account management and productivity, adherence to policies and procedures and risk management.
Ms. Merritt has worked as a consultant for Allied periodically since the fall of 2008. During that time, she gained significant knowledge of Allied's business operations and procedures as well as exposure and insight into the company's growth strategy, underwriting and funding processes and ongoing client performance/portfolio review.
Ms. Merritt is a financial executive with over 14 years of experience in all aspects of commercial finance, including underwriting, auditing, marketing and account, portfolio and financial management. She also has direct experience with factoring, asset based lending, SBA and traditional banking. She has provided consultancy for factoring companies nationwide in all areas of owning and operating a factoring company.
Prior to joining Allied, Ms. Merritt worked as a consultant with Factor Source, served as an officer with Liquid Capital Corp and as the Chief Credit Officer for Comresco Capital. She also held various positions and responsibilities with Guaranty Business Credit and Southwest Bank. Ms. Merritt has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from the University of Texas at Dallas.
