John Fox has served as Chairman and CEO of Rockland Credit Finance, LLC since 2001, and he is now acting as a consultant to Allied as a result of Allied's acquisition of the company in April 2009. Mr. Fox is facilitating business development and acquisition opportunities for Allied in the Northeast region of the United States. He is also sourcing deal participants to work together with Allied on larger transactions, developing non-bank referral sources and implementing and managing Allied’s sales tracking system.
Mr. Fox is a senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in the Commercial Finance Industry. Mr. Fox started his career in banking in the UK and has been involved in commercial finance since 1970, both in the UK and the United States. During that time, he has worked for major institutions and privately owned finance companies, and he has purchased and sold a variety of businesses.
Mr. Fox graduated from Cambridge University with both a Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Arts degree in Mathematics. He completed post graduate work at Cambridge and London Universities in mathematical modeling as applied to random numbers, and he was awarded a D.Phil for work on E. A. Miller’s theory. He later graduated from the Glacier Institute of Management and Brunel University with an MBA.
